On the 4th and 5th of April 2022, we held three workshops as part of this research project focused on the aspects of knowledge exchange and dissemination, reflections on its upcoming outcomes with Government authorities, and the future possibilities of the data collected.
૪થી અને ૫મી એપ્રિલ ૨૦૨૨ના અમે સરકારી સત્તાવાળાઓ સાથે ત્રણવર્કશોપ યોજ્યાં હતા, જે રિસર્ચ પ્રોજેક્ટના ભાગ રૂપે જ્ઞાનના આદાનપ્રદાન અને પ્રસારનાપાસાઓ, આગામી પરિણામો અને એકત્રિત કરેલ ડેટાના ભવિષ્યની સંભાવનાઓ પર ધ્યાન કેન્દ્રિત કરે છે.
The first workshop was an interaction with the students and studio tutors from the Architectural Conservation Studio of the Masters in Conservation and Regeneration Program at CEPT University. They are using the 3D data obtained in Bela to develop conservation and design proposals for houses, the marketplace, and the village’s fortification.
During the workshop, the students presented their in-progress work, which was commented on by their studio tutors Khushi Shah, Jayashree Bardhan, and (TA) Deepthi Varghese (from MCR FA CEPT) and members of the project’s research team. The discussions revolved around using, interpreting, and representing the 3D data and the drawings for case-specific design interventions.

પ્રથમવર્કશોપમાં CEPTયુનિવર્સિટીખાતે માસ્ટર્સ ઇન કન્ઝર્વેશન એન્ડ રિજનરેશન પ્રોગ્રામના આર્કિટેક્ચરલ કન્ઝર્વેશન સ્ટુડિયોના વિદ્યાર્થીઓ અને સ્ટુડિયો ટ્યુટર્સ સાથે વાતચીત કરવામાં આવી હતી . તેઓ બેલામાં મેળવેલા 3D ડેટાનો ઉપયોગ ઘરો, બજાર અને ગામના કિલ્લાઓનું સંરક્ષણ અને ડિઝાઇન પ્રોપોસલ વિકસાવવા માટે કરી રહ્યાછે.
વર્કશોપ દરમિયાન, વિદ્યાર્થીઓએ તેમનું ચાલુ કાર્ય રજૂ કર્યું, જેના પર તેમના સ્ટુડિયો ટ્યુટર્સ ખુશીશાહ, જયશ્રીબર્ધન, (TA) દીપ્તિવર્ગીસ (MCR FA CEPT તરફથી) અનેપ્રોજેક્ટ રિસર્ચ ટીમના સભ્યો દ્વારા ટિપ્પણી કરવામાં આવી હતી. કેસ નિર્દિષ્ટ ડિઝાઇન દરમિયાનગીરીઓ માટે કઈ રીતે 3D ડેટા અને કૃતિઓનું ઉપયોગ, અર્થઘટન અને પ્રતિનિધિત્વ કરવું તેના પર ચર્ચા કરવામાં આવી હતી.

The second workshop on policy impact aimed to explore possible avenues for implementing certain aspects of the project in real cases using existing funding and policies in Gujarat. Each institution part of this project presented a short brief on its contributions, followed by a discussion. The discussion informed the current development of a Policy Brief containing a set of recommendations for institutional arrangements, funding schemes, and overall strategies aimed at governmental and heritage institutions, authorities, and stakeholders in Gujarat.
નીતિ અસર પરના બીજા વર્કશોપનોહેતુ ગુજરાતમાં પ્રવર્તમાન ફંડિંગ અને નીતિઓનો ઉપયોગ કરીને પ્રોજેક્ટના અમુક પાસાઓને વાસ્તવિક કેસોમાં અમલમાં મૂકવાના સંભવિત રસ્તાઓ શોધવાનો હતો. આ પ્રોજેક્ટના દરેક ભાગમાં ચર્ચાઓ કરવામાં આવી અને તેના યોગદાન અંગેટૂંકી સંક્ષિપ્ત રજૂઆત કરવામાં આવી. ગુજરાતની સરકારી અને હેરિટેજ સંસ્થાઓ, સત્તાવાળાઓ અને હિતધારકોને ધ્યાનમાં રાખીને સંસ્થાકીય વ્યવસ્થાઓ, ભંડોળ યોજનાઓ અને વ્યૂહરચના માટે ભલામણોનો સમૂહ ધરાવતી નીતિ સંક્ષિપ્તના વર્તમાન વિકાસની માહિતી આપવામાં આવી હતી .

On the 5th of April, the third workshop consisted of a discussion with colleagues at the Faculty of Architecture and the Faculty of Technology of CEPT University, who gave relevant feedback for the project’s future work, following a summary presentation of the project by Dr Bernadette Devilat and a presentation about its outcomes by Dr Felipe Lanuza.
