Repair and reinforcement strategies at the Chabutra (birdfeeder) / ચબુતરો પર સમારકામ અને મજબૂતીકરણની વ્યૂહરચનાઓ

On the afternoon of the 17th of February 2024, we held an informative session with the local community, at Bela’s Chabutra (bird feeder), featuring the repair and reinforcement strategies implemented as a tangible example, led by the Hunnarshala Foundation.

17મી ફેબ્રુઆરીની બપોરે, અમે બેલાના ચબુત્રા (બર્ડ ફીડર) ખાતે સ્થાનિક સમુદાય સાથે એક માહિતીપ્રદ સત્રનું આયોજન કર્યું હતું, જેમાં હુન્નરશાલા ફાઉન્ડેશનની આગેવાની હેઠળ,  સમારકામ અને મજબૂતીકરણની વ્યૂહરચનાઓને એક મૂર્ત ઉદાહરણ તરીકે અમલમાં મુકવામાં આવેલી તે  દર્શાવવામાં આવ્યું  હતી.

Our research team, Bernadette Devilat & Felipe Lanuza, from the University of Nottingham; Jigna Desai, Mrudula Mane & Saatvika Pancholi, from the CEPT Research and Development Foundation; Aditya Singh from the Hunnarshala Foundation, & Shubham Daberao, from GIDM, were on-site for these activities. They held conversations with the community explaining the repair and reinforcement measures applied to the damaged building, which were done using the same amount of funds that the government would provide in case of an earthquake.

આ પ્રવૃત્તિઓ માટે અમારી સંશોધન ટીમ, બર્નાડેટ ડેવિલાટ અને ફેલિપ લાનુઝા, યુનિવર્સિટી ઓફ નોટિંગહામમાંથી; જીગ્ના દેસાઈ, મૃદુલા માને અને સાત્વિકા પંચોલી, CEPT રિસર્ચ એન્ડ ડેવલપમેન્ટ ફાઉન્ડેશન તરફથી; હુન્નરશાળા ફાઉન્ડેશન તરફથી આદિત્ય સિંઘ અને જીઆઈડીએમના શુભમ ડાબેરાવ સ્થળ પર હતા. તેઓએ સમુદાય સાથે વાતચીત કરતા સમજાવ્યું હતું કે કઈ રીતે ક્ષતિગ્રસ્ત ઈમારત પર સમારકામ અને મજબૂતીકરણના પગલાંને લાગુ કરવામાં આવ્યા છે અને એના માટે તે રકમ નો ઉપયોગ કરવામાં આવ્યું છે જે  ભૂકંપના કિસ્સામાં સરકાર દ્વારા પ્રદાન કરવામાં આવતા ભંડોળ ને સમાન છે

Also, the exhibition: ‘Digital Bela: Architectural Heritage under a New Light’ was set up there. This material had previously been exhibited at Nottingham Trent University, and went back to Bela to stay there permanently, open to the public for future reference.

‘ડિજિટલબેલાઃઆર્કિટેક્ચરલહેરિટેજઅન્ડરઅન્યૂલાઇટ’  પ્રદર્શન ને ત્યાં ગોઠવવામાં આવ્યું હતું. આ સામગ્રી અગાઉ નોટિંગહામ ટ્રેન્ટ યુનિવર્સિટીમાં પ્રદર્શિત કરવામાં આવી છે, અને ત્યાં કાયમી ધોરણે બેલા  લઇ જવામાં આવી  અને ભવિષ્યના સંદર્ભ સાથે  જાહેર જનતા માટે ખુલ્લું મુકવામાં આવ્યું છે.

Leaflets in Gujarati with information about the project and its outcomes were given to the people, linking to this website, which will stay available as a data repository.

આ વેબસાઈટ સાથે લિંક કરીને પ્રોજેક્ટ અને તેના પરિણામો વિશેની માહિતી એ ગુજરાતી પત્રિકાઓ દ્વારા  લોકોને આપવામાં આવી હતી, જે ડેટા રિપોઝીટરી તરીકે ઉપલબ્ધ રહેશે
